There was a time when come Friday night, farmers in rural communities would put their hoes down, and head to the local community gathering place for an evening of dance, music, and merrymaking. In the spirit of times past, we will be reviving those days in our beautiful local dance hall this fall.
When: Fridays-October 9, 2026, December 4, 2026, February 5, 2026, March 5, 2026, April 2, 2026
Time: 6:00-9:00: String Band Jam- 6:00-7:30 (This is an informal open jam session for musicians, featuring folk songs and fiddle tunes. All instruments are welcome).
Community Square Dance- 7:30-9:00 (All dances are taught briefly by the dance caller. No experience needed and there will be a live band!)
Food/Drink: There will be food available for purchase at each event, so you need not worry about trying to feed the family before heading out for a musical evening. It will vary each night as we experiment between a food truck, local catering, and pizza slices.
Cost: Grange Members: $15, Non-members:$20, Children (17 and under): free
