Line Dancing

Vinyasa Yoga

Taekwondo

Wednesday, 6:00-8:00pm (in the winter months only - ends in March 2024)

For more information contact Sheron at sheron@thehealingorder.com. Grand Master Foulke attends most evenings, or the class is run by a higher ranking Black Belt. All levels and ages are welcome and you’re welcome to observe the class before joining. Once you join, you will be added to the Signal group chat so you can be notified of any last minute class delays or cancellations. Cost is $25/month for individuals and $35/month for a family. NOTE: classes convene outside Sweet Briar Elementary school in Troutdale in the spring and summer.

Yoga with Anne

Quilting

Second Wednesday and Thursday of each Month, 9:00am-4:00pm (see changes to this schedule on our Event calendar)

More information contact Peggy at peggy@yellowhousequilter.com. Bring your sewing machine, your project and a sack lunch. Cutting stations, pressing stations and design wall available. You can sew for two days, leaving your sewing station set up and ready to go for day two. Peggy Gelbrich has been making quilts for over 40 years and is available to assist you with your project. Hours are 9-4. Workshop takes place on two consecutive days. Cost is $20 per day.

Instructor Caren Yang is a Corbett resident who offers expert instruction in the Chinese longevity practice of Taiji Quan (often spelled Tai Chi). Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, Caren and her husband Steve spent many years researching the traditional health promoting practices of Asia. During the last decade, they trained in the art of Yang Style Taiji with Yang Shuocheng, a master practitioner in the unique Mt. Wudang Taiji lineage that is rarely taught outside of China. 

Philosophy Café

Second Saturday of each Month, 4:00pm to 6:00pm (Summer hiatus - no classes June, July, or August)

This group gets together to share ideas and asks questions such as: Is there such a thing as luck? What rights, if any, do animals have? Is it ever okay to tell a secret? How and when did everything begin? Bring no money, just an open mind and heart to explore philosophical questions from different angles.
