ACOUSTIC BLUES MASTERS. This is the only public concert by this year’s four world-class instructors at the Blues in the Gorge guitar intensive at Menucha Retreat & Conference Center. MARY FLOWER, the camp’s artistic director, is an award-winning fingerpicker and was called “a national treasure in your own backyard” by Jorma Kaukonen. She is joined by GUY DAVIS (Renaissance man of the blues: outstanding multi-instrumental musician, Broadway actor, storyteller, songwriter), ALBANIE FALLETTA (phenomenal young guitarist and an A-list player with many New Orleans bands) and RICH MOORE (guitarist whose “exquisite skills” and “stunning instrumental chops” are often mentioned in reviews of his duo with wife, Grammy winner Mollie O’Brien). Expect an entertaining, one-of-a-kind musical journey with many surprises along the way!
