Beginning Iyengar Yoga
Saturday, 9:00-10:30am (5 week session begins 7/20)
More information at firstname.lastname@example.org. Emphasis is on learning the fundamentals of alignment and yoga terminology. We will practice and explore (primarily) standing poses that stretch and strengthen the body to achieve balance. This 90 minute class is perfect for beginners to yoga, for continuing students and for students new to the Iyengar method. You must be able to get up and down from the floor to attend this class. Single class = $12/class or 5 classes for $54.

Nia is an advanced form of fusion fitness, blending martial arts, healing arts, dance, and spiritual self-healing to create a high-powered, synergistic workout that no isolated exercise technique can match. Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat. Wear comfortable, light clothing and bare feet. Drop-in = $8, 4 sessions = $29 and 8 sessions = $52.

Participants are asked to invite in a sense of exploration, inner awareness and play - a departure from the static way we usually inhabit our bodies. Each session will start with a short silent meditation, followed by music and end with a brief gratitude circle.
